I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a university assistant professor devoted to helping and supporting others towards the amazing journey of optimal mental, emotional and physical health. I received my Bachelors of Social Work degree from Clark Atlanta University (1996), my Masters of Social Work Degree from New York University (1998) and my Doctorate of Social Work degree from Barry University (2023). I've worked in the behavioral health field for more than 2 decades. My specialties include Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy Adaptations, Couples/Poly-partners Therapy, Group Therapy, Play Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Diagnostic Assessments, Verification of Diagnosis and Professional Development Training. I provide Clinical Supervision for mental health professionals, and I supervise interns that aspire to obtain their degree in the behavioral health arena.
